The stories in this link are meant as a meze platter, traditionally offered before the main dish, a spoonful of flavour to please the palette. The main meal itself is in the making; a historical and magically real novel about fin de siecle Istanbul, with which I received my PhD in Creative Writing from The University of Glasgow, and the Gillian Purvis Award for New Writing.
